Jostaberry
Jostaberry's are a Blackcurrant x Gooseberry
hybrid. They form a large bush so plant at spacing's of 1.8m between plants.
Jostaberry's need to be grown in an open and
sunny site. Jostaberry's flower early and are susceptible to cold so they should
not be planted in a frost pocket. Jostaberry's will grow on a wide range of
soils as long as they are deep and retain moisture.
Jostaberry's are available pre-packed from
late-October to March. They are available in containers all year round.

A heavy cropping, thornless bush which bears
shiny black fruits which are the size of a small gooseberry in July on short
strigs. Resistant to mildew.
