Aconitum napellus

Monkshood. A variable, erect perennial which has rounded, deeply lobed, dark green leaves. In mid- and late-summer dense racemes of indigo-blue flowers are borne. TOXIC

Best grown in cool, moist, fertile soil in partial shade. It will tolerate most soils and full sun. it will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 30cm.
