Japanese Anemone. A vigorous, erect,
woody-based perennial which has spreading, suckering shoots, and oval, palmate,
mid-green leaves. From August to October it bears semi double pale pink flowers.
Grow in moist, fertile, humus-rich soil in
sun or partial shade. They won't tolerate excessive winter wet. It will reach a
height of 1.2-1.5m and will spread indefinitely.
