A slowly, spreading perennial which is good for groundcover. It has heart-shaped, hairy, mid- to deep green leaves. In April and May it produces bright sparkling blue flowers much like the sprays of a forget-me-not.

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in a cool site. Happy in dry shade or a more open situation with moist soil. It will reach a height of 30-45cm and a spread of 60cm.

Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost'
