Caltha palustris
King Cup. Marsh Marigold. A vigorous plant
which forms a large clump of rich green, rounded, or kidney-shaped, bluntly
toothed leaves which may grow up to 25cm across when mature. Bears vivid deep
yellow flowers from March to May.
Grow in permanently moist soil in full sun or
partial shade. It will reach a height of 15-45cm.
