Ligularia przewalski

A clump forming perennial which has palmately lobed leaves which are deeply cut and irregularly lobed and toothed. Slender, dense racemes of yellow flowerheads are borne from July to August.

Grow in moderately fertile, deep, reliably moist soil in full sun with some midday shade. It will reach a height of up to 2m and a spread of 1m.

Ligularia tangutica

A vigorous, spreading perennial which has upright unbranched dark stems and ovate, deeply pinnatisect, dark green leaves. From late summer to mid-autumn, panicles of narrow, 2-4 rayed, bright yellow flowerheads are borne which are followed by pale brown, fluffy seedheads.

Grow in moderately fertile, moist to boggy soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 1.5m and will spread indefinately.
