Verbascum olympicum

Olympic Mullein. A rosette-forming short lived perennial which has greyish-white, wholly, lanced-shaped leaves with pointed tips. From June to July, bold candelabra carrying spikes of bright golden-yellow flowers are borne which have white or whitish-yellow stamens.

Grow in alkaline, poor, well drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 60cm.

Verbascum phoeniceum 'Flush of White'

A rosette-forming short lived perennial which has short-stalked, ovate, slightly scalloped. wrinkled, conspicuously veined, dark green basal leaves. From June to July, slender racemes, 75cm long, of saucer-shaped, white flowers, with violet filament hairs are borne.

Grow in alkaline, poor, well drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 45cm and a spread of 30cm.

Verbascum phoeniceum 'Southern Charm'

A rosette-forming short lived perennial which has short-stalked, ovate, slightly scalloped. wrinkled, conspicuously veined, dark green basal leaves. From June to September, slender racemes of saucer-shaped, flowers in a range of pastels shades from cream to pale pink, lavender, and buff, with purple stamens are borne.

Grow in alkaline, poor, well drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 45cm.
