Azara serrata
A large shrub for growing against a wall or a
sheltered site. Has distinctive, oval, serrate leaves and bears clusters of
yellow flowers in May which can be followed by white fruits in hot summers.
At its best when grown sheltered from cold
winds in moist, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach an
ultimate height of 4m and a spread of 3m.
