Ceratostigma plumbaginoides
A spreading, woody based perennial which as erect red stems, and obovate, bright green leaves, with bristly, wavy margins, red-tinted in autumn. In late summer clusters of bright blue flowers are borne.
Grow in moderately fertile, light, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of up to 45cm and a spread of 30cm or more.

Ceratostigma willmottianum
An open-branched, spreading, deciduous shrub with slender, bristly, mid-green stems. Lance-shaped to obovate, pointed, pointed, bristly, mid- to dark green, purple margined leaves, which turn red in autumn. From late summer to autumn, pale to mid-blue flowers are borne which have red-purple tubes.
Grow in moderately fertile, light, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a height of 1m and a spread of 1.5m.
