Ribes x gordonianum
A deciduous shrub which has rounded, 3- to 5-lobed, toothed, aromatic, dark
green leaves. Tubular, 5-lobed flowers, red outside and yellow inside, open in
dense, pendant racemes to 7cm long, are borne in April and May.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a
height of 2m and a spread of 2.5m.

Ribes odoratum
A spineless, erect, deciduous shrub which has hairy young shoots and broadly
ovate, 3- to 5-lobed, toothed bright green leaves which turn red and purple in
autumn. In mid and late spring, tubular, fragrant yellow flowers are borne in
pendant racemes to 5cm long which are followed by spherical black fruits.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. It will reach a
height of 2m and a spread of 2m.
