A dense, rounded, bushy shrub which has narrow, glossy, dark green leaves. It bears clusters of fragrant white flowers which are borne in winter, followed by rounded, glossy black fruit.

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in deep or partial shade. Can tolerate full sun if the soil remains moist. It will reach a height of 2m and a spread of 1m.

A dwarf, clump forming, evergreen shrub with narrow, glossy, dark green leaves. Bears tiny, very fragrant, pink-tinged white flowers in winter, followed by rounded dark blue-black fruit.

Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in deep or partial shade. Can tolerate full sun if the soil remains moist. It will reach a height of 60cm and a spread of 1m.
