Spartium junceum
An upright shrub which has slender dark green
shoots which bear narrow lance-shaped dark green leaves. From early summer to
early autumn it bears racemes of fragrant, pea-like, golden yellow flowers. Grow
in a shrub border or against a warm, sunny wall.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil
in full sun. It will thrive on chalky soils and in coastal sites. It will reach
a height and spread of 3m.
